Stay away from the windows

An inmate at a prison in Varces, France was was killed on Sunday and another injured by a sniper shooting from outside the compound. Police say the victim was due to testify in a murder case.

The suspected gunman was apprehended almost immediately by police as he mounted a motorbike in preparation for a getaway. As if the situation was not awesome enough to begin with, the perpetrator is refusing to admit guilt, using the “Shaggy” defence despite being caught in possesion of a still-warm scoped rifle.

Five shots were fired into the exercise yard of the prison. The injured man is thought to have been shot in the hand. Better story than all this “collapsing bank” shit.
